The short version
- Your media files never leave your device for the standard, in-browser tools.
- We don't sell your data, ever.
- We collect only what's needed to run the service and understand which tools are used.
- There are no accounts, no sign-up and no payments — so there is no profile of you to hold.
Files you edit
Every core tool runs client-side using FFmpeg.wasm, the Canvas API and pdf-lib. When you open a file, it is read into your browser's memory and processed on your own device. It is not transmitted to us, stored by us, or accessible to us. When you close or reload the page, that in-memory copy is gone.
There is no exception and no server-side fallback. Every tool on the site processes your file in the browser tab. The one thing that does reach a server is stock media search: if you search the built-in Pixabay or Jamendo libraries, your search term is sent to our worker so it can query the provider on your behalf. Your own files are never part of that request.

Information we collect
- Anonymous usage events. When a tool runs we log a small record — which tool, approximate file size, and success or failure — with no file contents and no personal identifiers. This tells us which tools to improve.
- Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to answer you. The contact form opens your own email client — we never see a message you don't send.
- Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences, including your cookie-consent choice. With your consent we also use analytics and advertising cookies (see below). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie banner, and control cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising & Google AdSense
On the free, ad-supported experience we use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This helps keep the core tools free.

- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and others.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before setting non-essential advertising and analytics cookies, and only serve personalised ads where you have consented.

Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Cloudflare for hosting and anonymous analytics, Google AdSense for advertising, and Pixabay and Jamendo for the optional stock-media libraries. Each processes only the limited data needed for its function and under its own privacy terms.
Data retention
Anonymous usage events are retained in aggregate only, and cannot be traced back to a person. Email you send us is kept for as long as it takes to resolve your question and then deleted. We hold no accounts, so there is no profile to expire.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. In practice we hold very little: your files are never uploaded, and we keep no accounts. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
Children
Dexta Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to registered users.
