Why put images in a PDF at all
Photographs of a document, receipts for an expense claim, or scans from a phone all arrive as loose images. A PDF makes them one attachment in a defined order.
A PDF page prints and displays the same everywhere, which loose images do not. That is why almost every form that asks for a document asks for a PDF.
What to check before you convert
- Order
Pages come out in the order the images are arranged, and a PDF has no memory of the filenames. Arrange before converting.
- Orientation
A sideways photo becomes a sideways page. Rotate the images first — fixing it afterwards means rotating pages instead.
- It will not be searchable
Photographs of text are still photographs. The resulting PDF has no text layer, so nothing in it can be searched or selected.

Your file, and what the page does
Your file is never uploaded. Image to PDF reads it into this browser tab and processes it with pdf-lib on your own device. There is no upload endpoint in the application and no copy on any server — closing the tab discards it.
What the page does send or fetch
- Ads on the page
- The site is funded by advertising, so the page loads Google AdSense. That carries the usual web basics — IP address, browser, referring page — as on any ad-supported site.
- An anonymous usage counter
- When Image to PDF finishes we record that the tool ran, whether it succeeded and how long it took. No file data, no identifier, no cookie.
